Immersion
im·mer·sion (ĭ-mûr'zhən): n - instruction based on extensive exposure to surroundings or conditions that are native or pertinent to the object of study
Immersion is the college and young adult ministry of All Nations Church. Immersion exists to fulfill the mission of All Nations Church by:
- engaging young adults to walk in, and reflect a personal relationship with Jesus on a moment to moment basis
- reaching the lost in our community and our workplaces
- serving the body of Christ through volunteering of time and gifts
- equipping young men and women to press in to the Word of God through practical application
-
providing real community for young men and women to exercise their faith and journey together into abundant life
Immersion is not an activity or a program, but a lifestyle shared between young adults in a process. Although there is a weekly meeting on Wednesday nights where we worship together, pray together and dig into the Word of God together - the true immersion community happens in living rooms, coffee shops, sports fields and neighborhoods. We believe that true Kingdom purposed community is dynamic and appealing. True community will reflect the heart of the Father for the lost and broken hearted. True community is life giving and life changing. Our collective longing is to go deeper: deeper into the Word of God, worship, discipleship, fellowship, and to immerse ourselves into The Way, The Truth, and The Life.
